CCRE Staff

CCRE Therapeutics currently runs a number of national and international trials and manages the databases of a number of large clinical registries through our Clinical Informatics and Data Management Centre.

Latest News:
Researchers from CCRE Therapeutics have been awarded US$50 million from the National Institute on Aging, part of the National Institutes of Health, for the ASPirin in Reducing Events in the Elderly (ASPREE) trial.  

This international trial, in collaboration with the Berman Center for Outcome and Clinical Research in the USA, will recruit 12,500 healthy men and women aged 70 years and over in Australia and 6,500 in the US and will look at whether taking aspirin contributes to good health in the elderly.

ASPREE is the largest prevention trial to be undertaken in Australia.  Read more...
