INTEGRATE
The INTEGRATE study is a major initiative around the evidence-based management of hypertension and atherothrombosis in the community, conducted by CCRE Therapeutics in association with Bristol-Myers Squibb. INTEGRATE is a clinical audit program focussing on evidence-based management of hypertension. In particular INTEGRATE investigates the participation of both general practitioners and patients to achieve target risk factor levels associated with improved outcomes in hypertensive patients and those at risk of cardiovascular disease. Phase 1 of the clinical audit program was completed in late 2008, with Phase 2 scheduled to begin in mid 2009 utilising web enabled data capture technology.
