Our Organisational Profile document (PDF - 984Kb) is available for download. Caulfield Clinical Trial CentreThe Centre for Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics Clinical Trial Centre (CTC) is located on the campus of Caulfield General Medical Centre, Kooyong Road, Caulfield South. The CTC facility was primarily established to support academic investigator-initiated research and to advance alliances between academia and industry (both pharmaceutical and healthcare). The Centre is easily accessed by public transport and provides ample parking facilities for study participants. There is a great need for implementing preventive health strategies to allay the chronic health problems in an ageing Australian population. To this end the focus of research undertaken by the CTC is in cardiovascular-based preventive health studies. The ultimate aim of all the research endeavours at CTC is to enable healthcare professionals to improve cardiovascular risk profile and long term patient outcome and to additionally support the notion that clinical research should be an integral part of standard medical care.
